Core Statistics Sources

  • EIU Data Services  
    Choose CountryData, Market Indicators and Forecasts, or CityData from the EIU menu.
  • OECD Stat
    OECD Stat enables users to search for and extract data from OECD databases. Also known for its International Energy Agency Statistics.
  • International Monetary Fund Data  
    Int'l Financial Statistics, Balance of Payments, Direction of Trade, Govt Finance Statistics, and more. TIP: Use the "Query Builder"
  • UNData  
  • UNCTAD Stat  
  • World dataBank (World Bank)
    World Bank databases including World Development Indicators, Global Development Finance, African Development Indicators and more.
  • Passport GMID Euromonitor  
    To access data, click on "Search." First select your categor(ies), then countr(ies). After retrieving your search, you can adjust the time series, getting data back to 1977.
  • Global Insight  
    Click on "DataInsight-Web". Includes data from IMF, central banks, and more.
  • Global Financial Data  
    Covering 300 years, GFD tracks the growth of the European, US and global economies in the 1800s and 1900s for both developing and emerging markets.
  • Statista: the Statistics Portal
    Integrates data on over 80,000 topics from over 18,000 sources.
